Reliability Engineer
Job description:
- Engage with program team members to define product specification mapping customer’s requirements.
- Engage with design engineers to implement DfR(Design for Reliability).
- Develop DFMEA to identify product risk and mitigation plan in front end design.
- Evaluate product functional performance by testing.
- Development and implementation of methodologies/techniques to enhance product reliability.
· Work with team member on design improvement based on analyses results and effectively communicate improvements, test plans etc with manufacturing partners.
- Debug the failure and engage with design team members to work out solution.
- Work with design engineer to identify Critical to Function/Critical to Quality parameters.
- Develop On-Going-Reliability test to monitoring mass production.
Requirements:
- B.A or above in Structural packaging/Mechanical or material.
- Solid experience in hardware verification and packaging qualification.
- Strong statistical analysis skill, familiar with tools as Minitab or Weibull
- Understand the PoF and good FA skills.
- DFMEA experience
- 5+ years experience in reliability or packaging qualification work
- Good communication skill, including fluent English-speaking,
- Good paper work and presentation skills.
- Team player and good supplier-management skills.
Preference:
- Familiar with transportation profiles/relevant test standards/methods.
- Understanding packaging material ie. Paper/thermoform/cushion/label etc.
- Understand packaging manufacturing process.
